Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information 2INBAY LLC ("we", "us") collects when you play SALVO MAYHEM or use its related websites and services (the "Service"), and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Guest play — a randomly generated identifier stored on your device or browser and sent to our servers to create or resume your guest account. We store your display name and in-game progress (points, items, match results) on our servers. Guest play does not require an email address.
- Accounts — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a provider identifier, and may receive the name on your provider profile. We may use the name to show who is signing in. We never see your password for those services.
- Gameplay and purchases — match results and in-match actions, purchase records, and points-ledger records.
- Technical and website data — logs including IP address, connection events, requested pages, browser or device information, and the page that referred you to our website.
- Playtest surveys — if you choose to answer a survey, we store your answers, including anything you type in optional text fields. Surveys do not ask you to sign in and responses are not linked to your game account. Text you enter may identify you if you include personal details.
- Chat safety — when a player reports a chat message, we keep the reported message, its room and time, the two players' display names and account identifiers, and the review decision. Players you block are stored in your account so their messages can be hidden from you.
We do not ask for your physical address, contacts, or precise location, and we do not run third-party advertising in the game.
2. What we use it for
To run the game: matchmaking, saving your progress, crediting rewards, processing purchases, preventing cheating and abuse, and fixing problems. We also use aggregated gameplay data (for example, how often a tank wins) to balance the game, survey answers to understand player feedback, and website access logs to measure visits and where visitors came from.
3. Email
We use your email address to operate your account (for example, sign-in and account recovery). If you separately opt in to product news, we will also send occasional updates about the game, such as launch announcements. You can withdraw that consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us. We do not sell your email address or share it with advertisers.
4. Where your data lives
Data is stored on servers hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. Authentication for Google/Apple sign-in is handled by AWS Cognito. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your data is processed in the United States.
5. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service (hosting, authentication, and — for purchases — Apple or Google as the payment processor), or if required by law. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention and deletion
On installed apps, your guest identifier stays in app storage across launches until the app or its data is removed. On the web, the browser replaces a guest identifier after roughly 30 days of inactivity. Removing the app, clearing browser data, or replacing that identifier does not delete guest progress stored on our servers; we do not currently delete inactive guest accounts automatically.
Account data is kept until you delete the account. You can delete your account and its linked personal data in-game: Settings → Danger zone → Delete Account. Deletion removes the account and its linked progress immediately. A reported chat message and its moderation case may remain for up to 30 days after the report so we can investigate abuse; we remove the deleted player's account identifier and replace their display name with a deleted-player label. The message itself may still contain personal information. We may also retain records we are legally required to keep (such as purchase records, kept without any link to your identity).
Survey answers are not linked to your account, so account deletion does not remove them. If you included identifying details in a survey answer and want it removed, contact us with enough detail to locate the response. If you no longer have access to the device or browser, contact support@2inbay.com with details that may help us locate your guest account. We can delete it once we can identify it.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the game or by email.
